EVA Foam Double-Sided Tape (closed-cell EVA foam · cushioning and sealing)
EVA foam double-sided tape uses a closed-cell EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) foam carrier coated on one or both sides with pressure-sensitive adhesive. The closed-cell structure gives good cushioning, shock absorption, sound and thermal insulation, moisture resistance and chemical resistance, with a degree of recovery after compression — widely used for packaging linings, automotive interior anti-vibration, door and window sealing and appliance damping.
Also called: EVA foam tape, EVA foam double-sided tape
⚠️ This site lists no values that have not been measured. Density, peel adhesion and compression recovery per grade are given in the measured datasheet (TDS) we provide.

Typical applications
- Packaging & transport: Cushioning linings for fragile goods, anti-vibration pads for instruments, pallet padding.
- Automotive: Interior anti-vibration, headliner and door-panel filling, squeak and rattle elimination between harness and sheet metal.
- Construction & doors/windows: Gap sealing for doors and windows, glass setting blocks, filling and cushioning between curtain wall and profiles.
- Appliances: Compressor anti-vibration pads, panel cushioning, in-cabinet noise and resonance suppression.
- Bags & sporting goods: Cushioning layers for footwear, bag linings, protectors and grips.

FAQ
How does EVA foam tape differ from PE foam tape?
EVA is softer, with better compression recovery, cushioning, sound and thermal insulation — suited to linings, packaging and anti-vibration. PE is tougher, with better weatherability, UV resistance and water and solvent resistance — suited to outdoor and long-term load applications. Both can be customised in thickness and adhesive.
How do I choose the thickness?
Allow 20%–30% compression. Measure the gap, add the compression allowance, and that is the nominal thickness. If the gap itself has tolerance, sample two thicknesses and compare.
Can you make flame-retardant, conductive or other functional versions?
We can evaluate it on request. Flame-retardant, conductive and anti-static functions require formulation and process adjustments in the carrier or adhesive. Tell us the application and the standard to be met, and we will advise feasibility and sampling lead time.
Will it age outdoors?
Closed-cell EVA foam is inherently moisture and chemical resistant, but prolonged strong UV exposure accelerates ageing. For long-term outdoor exposure we recommend PE foam or the acrylic foam series, or an ageing test before finalising.
Are test reports available?
Third-party test reports and MSDS (for example RoHS and halogen, specific to the submitted grade) can be provided. For ranges without published values, the measured report and the mutually agreed technical specification are authoritative.
How do I get a quotation?
Provide the substrate, service environment, thickness and colour requirements, whether die-cut parts are needed, and estimated monthly volume — that is enough for a quick quotation. The more complete the information, the more accurate the price.
Need a grade recommendation or samples?
Tell us the substrate, service temperature and load case — our engineers will recommend a grade and arrange samples.
