Electronics
Where: Under-display backing, battery cover, camera and receiver modules
Recommendation: PET double-sided tape for thin laminations; easy-pull tape where rework is required.
Display modules
Where: Bezel bonding, light shielding, venting
Recommendation: Grid-pattern air-release tape and light-blocking tape; die-cut, no adhesive ooze.
Construction & elevators
Where: Curtain-wall panels, stiffeners, elevator car panels
Recommendation: Acrylic foam tape 1.5–3.0 mm; distributes stress and removes welding distortion.
PV & new energy
Where: Module frame sealing, battery pack fixation
Recommendation: Weatherable PE foam tape and thermally conductive tape.
Appliances
Where: Panel lamination, nameplates, vibration damping and sealing
Recommendation: EVA / PE foam tape; thickness selected by gap and compression.

Three exploded views mark the typical HBA double-sided tape positions on a smartphone, a car and a fridge / TV. Red areas are the tape layers; the numbers match the notes. The views are structural illustrations — final grade and thickness should be validated on your own parts.
