HBA 48108T Acrylic Foam Tape, 0.8 mm, Clear
HBA 48108T is the 0.8 mm clear grade of Derun's HBA acrylic foam tape series: a closed-cell acrylic foam carrier with high-tack acrylic PSA on both sides and a PET release film. Total thickness 0.9 ± 0.02 mm, width 800 mm, 33 m per roll, 180° peel ≥30 N/inch at 30 min and ≥46 N/inch at 72 h, loop tack ≥40 N/in², static shear at 80 °C (1000 g) ≥600 min, elongation ≥700%.

- Structural bonding of glass, metal, PC, ABS and painted surfaces
- Curtain-wall stiffeners, cladding panels and channel letters
- Assemblies that must fill gaps and absorb vibration and shock
Not suitable / pre-treatment required
- Low-surface-energy materials such as PP and PE (corona, flame or primer treatment plus testing needed)
- Service above the temperature limit stated in the TDS
- Assemblies requiring damage-free rework (use an easy-pull tape instead)
- Use as the sole connection of a primary load-bearing structural member
